Tampa’s psychedelic dance/pop duo Beatnik Castle’s follow-up single “How Do You Mend a Broken Heart (Like Mine)?”  was added to Billboard’s Breakouts for Hot Dance Club Play for May 14, 2012.

“How Do You Mend a Broken Heart (Like Mine)?”  according to DJ’s who are currently  playing the track, is creating a stir because of its unique retro 70’s style vibe, and, of course, the powerful soulful vocals of session singer Jennifer Real. According to Quincy B, “Everybody really enjoys the remixes, especially the Mike Cruz version.” A video (synched to the Mike Cruz radio edit) is almost completed and should be ready in a few weeks, adds Quincy.

In addition to the Mike Cruz, Beatnik Castle used other remixers for the new single, including Klubjumpers, Captain GQ, Trypsin, and newcomers Electrosonix. “We also used the same folks that worked on the first single,” says Quincy, adding that, remixers Josh Harris, Cato K, Lenny B, Julian Marsh, and Majik Boys are staple sin the Beatnik musical arsenal. “Why change horses in midstream?”
