(Tampa) -For the second consecutive year, Tampa’s psychedelic dance/epic pop duo Beatnik Castle will be performing at the Deet Promotion Showcase at the Winter Music Conference Thursday, March 25 at Club Twist 1057 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida 33139

“This performance is definitely extra special considering the incredible momentum Beatnik Castle has achieved in the past 12 months, “exclaims head Beatnik Quincy B. Scovill, adding that Beatnik Castle’s current single and video, “Will U B Mine?” (featuring singer Francillia) is still being played worldwide. The video for “Will U B Mine?” (directed by Russ Miller) made its national broadcast debut on Logo December 2009 and has been added to MTV, VH1, Spike TV, Music Choice and other audio and video outlets worldwide as well as winning an award at the 2010 Tampa Bay Video Awards this year. “Will U Be Mine?” was placed on the Official Grammy Ballot by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences in the Grammy category “Dance Single of the Year” in 2008 and 2009. Beatnik Castle also was placed in the Grammy Ballot categories “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year” in 2010. The showcase performance will debut new Beatnik singer Ohsha Kai and the sophomore Beatnik single “How Do You Mend a Broken Heart (Like Mine)?” – a seventies-style old school dance track with, according to Quincy B,  “has plenty of strings and backing vocals.”The Spanish Rap version of Beatnik Castle’s current single “Will U B Mine?” – appropriately titled  “Tu Puedos ser Mio?”will be performed by Tampa Hip-Hop Duo Apocalipsis and Leemarie. Leemarie also will sing back-up with Ohsha on “Broken Heart.”

“Wait until you see and hear these kids perform “Will U B Mine?” exclaims an excited Ohsha. “It just adds another dimension to the single!”

Unfortunately “Tu Puedos ser Mio?” and the Euro-Techno and Reggae versions were not included on Beatnik Castle’s February 2010 limited edition Club Remix CD (featuring new artwork and several new dance/club remixes by Josh Harris, Lenny B, Cato K, Georgie Porgie, Majik Boys, Tod Miner, Julian Marsh) but all the aforementioned versions will be available digitally later this year.
