This is it for Motown Maurice’s local Tampa television show Wide aWoke Wednesday’s.A good friend and esteemed colleague, Motown Maurice started WideAwoke Wednesday’s two years ago and, 27 shows later, decided to conclude this series this November. The upcoming Wednesday, November 11, 2009 will be the last Wide aWoke Wednesday’s. Sadly, this excellant and thought-provoking series will be sorely missed! Motown and his crew are staunch supporters of Beatnik Castle and we strongly encourage you to experience Wide aWoke Wednesday’s before it becomes a piece of Tampa talk show history. We’ll there as well giving our support!

Mad Monk, LTD recording artist and performer Francillia, lead singer of Tampa/US Virgin Islands-based psychedelic pop-dance outfit Beatnik Castle, will be guest appearing at Motown Maurice’s Wide aWoke Wednesdays on Wednesday, May 20^th at 6:30 pm at University of South Florida Alumni Center/Traditions Hall at 4202 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Fl 33620. Francillia will be singing her hit single “Will U B Mine?” and other songs from her upcoming 2010 solo CD “Temptation.” The dance/pop single “Will U B Mine?” is currently being played on over 52 dance/mix radio across the country, including XM/Sirius BPM and on radio stations in 16 countries inEurope and Australia. In addition to being an accomplished recording artist and performer, Francillia, 21, also is a US Army veteran and still an active member of the US Reserves and recently performed at the Winter Music Conference in Miami March 2009. Her sultry vocals energize and invigorate souls with delicate ease; her poignant presence meticulously captures the essence of creativity.
